The Invasion of Miefarr
Perched at the edge of civilization, the small town of Grue’s Hollow has always relied on itself to take care of any issues that arise within. However, the newly established Tarisian Lumbermill in the area has begun to drain every last copper from Grue’s Hollow with heavy taxation during a time of extreme pestilence. As a result, the hacking coughs of the sick fill the woods around the town. The plague that has infected Grue’s Hollow threatens to swallow up the small outpost, and there are none who put forth the effort to stop it.
Though a group of Acolytes of Zagan recently passed through the area, they refused to assist the local herbalist, Selphie Moonlancer, in curing the plague and as a direct result the death toll is too high to count. A small civil war has broken out between Selphie and the local cleric in service to Zagan, Malachi Vishtari, with most of the remaining healthy population siding with Selphie. Both the fates of Malachi and the town are unknown, but no communications have come from the small outpost in nearly two weeks, and the Bishops of the Winged Traitor believe it to now be forsaken.
